College honors announced

<p class="p1"><strong>Arkansas State University-Mountain Home</strong></p><p class="p1">Six Ozark Countians were among the students named to the spring chancellor’s and vice chancellor’s honor lists at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home. To qualify for these lists, students must be enrolled in 12 credit hours and achieve a 4.0 grade point average for the chancellor’s list and between a 3.60 and 3.99 GPA for the vice chancellor’s list. </p><p class="p1">These Ozark Countians made the chancellor’s list: Chris Bogowith and Joseph Bogowith of Gainesville, Matthew Colbert of Caulfield and Gary Pearman of Theodosia.</p><p class="p1">Jonathan Belt of Bakersfield and Deborah Cook of Gainesville were named to the vice chancellor’s list.</p><p class="p1">ASU-MH has said it will soon announce its latest graduates and their hometowns. </p><p class="p1">***</p><p class="p1"><strong>Southwest Baptist University,  Bolivar</strong></p><p class="p1">Three Ozark Countians were included on the spring 2017 honor roll lists released recently by Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar. </p><p class="p1">Joshua Yount of Bakersfield was named to the SBU trustees’ list, Tali Rose of Gainesville was named to the president’s list and Katelyn Brantingham of Noble was named to the dean’s list. </p><p class="p1">To be listed on the semester’s honor rolls, students must carry at least 12 credit hours and earn a grade point average of 3.85-4.00 to be named to the trustees’ list, 3.70-3.84 to be named to the president’s list and 3.50-3.69 to be named to the dean’s list.</p><p class="p1">***</p><p class="p1"><strong>College of the Ozarks, Point Lookout</strong></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Two Ozark Countians were recently named to the spring 2017 dean’s list at</span> College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout: Legan Tiller of Gainesville and Kelsie Myers of Theodosia. Both are Gainesville High School graduates. </p><p class="p1">To qualify for the C of O dean’s list, students must maintain a 3.6 minimum grade point average during the semester and carry at least 15 credit hours.</p><p class="p1"><strong> </strong></p>
