Isabella woman charged with using another person’s debit card to add $8,500 onto an inmates jail account

A warrant with an $8,500 cash only bond has been issued for the arrest of Reagan Jenkins of Isabella in connection with a case that charges her with stealing and fraudulently using a debit device. She was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday before Associate Judge Raymond Gross.

According to the probable cause statement prepared by Ozark County Sheriff Cass Martin, he was dispatched to a residence in Isabella for a report of a theft at 3:45 p.m. Oct. 6. When he arrived on scene, he spoke with a woman, who said that Jenkins had used her debit card without permission and started a cash app account. The woman said there were now $8,500 in fraudulent charges made off the card, the majority of which were going to “NCIC Inmate phone services,” depositing money onto an account of an inmate within the Ozark County Jail.

Ozark County Sheriff’s Deputy Seth Miller mirandized Jenkins and asked her if she had used the card. She reportedly told the deputy she had withdrew funds from the account without the woman’s knowledge.
