Falcons still unbeaten, ranked 4th in the state

The Dora Falcons remain undefeated at 10-0 and are currently ranked fourth in the state, according to rankings by the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association.

The Falcons have scored 141 runs in 10 games, while shutting out five of their opponents and allowing only 15 runs in 10 matches.

Dora was scheduled to play Gainesville at Hammons Field in Springfield on Tuesday and face the Bulldogs again Wednesday in the Seymour Tournament. Details from both games were unavailable at press time.

The Falcons breezed by the Liberty Eagles and the Lutie Indians in action last week, beating Liberty 12-2 on Tuesday and Lutie 17-5 on Wednesday.

In the game against Liberty, Jesse Morgan had three to lead the Falcons.

Against Lutie, Riley Walker and Coy Collins each belted a homerun, while Cameron Smith went 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs for Dora.

Game stats for Lutie were not provided.
