The Lady Bulldogs added a run in the third and another in the fourth to tie the game. The Lady Bears would rattle the bats again in the fifth, scoring three more. Gainesville answered with two of their own, but two more runs by Willow Springs in the sixth and two scoreless innings for the Lady Bulldogs added up to a 9-6 win for Willow.
Brittney Hamm and Sarah Cunningham led the Lady Bulldog offense. Each were 1-2 with 1 run scored. Alyssa Abraham went 1-3 with two runs scored for Gainesville.
The Lady Bulldogs finished with a 12-12 mark.
