Gainesville Jr. High girls win conference tourney

The Gainesville junior high Lady Bulldogs' basketball team captured first place last week in the Summit Conference Tournament. Gainesville received a third seed in the tournament, even though they were 11-1 with their only loss being to Fordland. Gainesville avenged that loss in the championship game by beating Fordland 33-31. This team has a record of 29-3 over the past two years.
