Gainesville School launches new Facebook page

Gainesville School administrators recently launched a Facebook page to share school-related information and events. The page can be found at www.facebook.com/pages/Gainesville-R-V-School. “This is one more way for us to keep parents informed of events taking place at Gainesville School,” superintendent Joe Donley said.
Administrators also plan on using the page to let district patrons know about student accomplishments. “We want our Facebook page to be a positive way for us to encourage our kids and inform the public about their achievements,” he said.
Donley said the school is continually looking at new ways to reach parents and is currently researching other sources of communication, including the possibility of an interactive mobile app.
