Jr. Lions 4-2 so far

The Bakersfield junior high boys' basketball team is off to a 5-2 start on the season.

The junior Lions have two wins over Lutie, two wins over Koshkonong and a win over Summersville, according to coach Jonathan Winslow.

The Lions lost twice to Dora. Both times in overtime.

Winslow said his team is being led in scoring by Quinton Busbey. The team's point guard and floor leader is Klayton Marsh.

Other starters are Alex Jeschke, Colter Johnson, and Andrew Lau. Here are the scores of the games so far this season:

The junior Lions' next game is Thursday night at Gainesville. Then they play in the Norwood Tournament competing against Norwood, Mansfield and Plato next week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. 

Their final home game is Oct. 12 against Couch.
