Zanoni news: June 6, 2018

We received 3 inches of rain last week. It’s pretty hard to know when to cut hay. Larry Grisham got some up last week.
It seems like when one thing happens on the farm, something else will follow. Our well went out Saturday, and we got water from our neighbor, Leroy Morrison. Pipes had to be pulled because they had holes. Got water on Tuesday about noon. Next, my washing machine quit working and had to have new belts.
Friday night, Dave and Mary Morrison, Paul and I went to the Hitching Post at Caulfield for supper.
Smith Chapel Cemetery was mowed this past weekend and will be mowed one more time before flowers need to be moved off the graves, either put in the vases or taken home. Please take care of this by June 15.
We ate dinner at The Center Sunday and enjoyed visiting with Wilber and Barbara Cowart. The meal was good and there was good service by the FBLA students.
It seems like a lot of people are taking vacations this time of year.
Our prayers are with Galene Smith Johnson in Texas and her family as she had serious surgery this week.
I hope everyone has a good week and that you can keep your yard mowed.
