Jeff Nash plans 12th annual tourney at Lost Woods course

Proceeds go to Ozark County Food Pantry
and Gainesville YEP backpack program

The 12th annual Joe Nash Memorial Benefit Golf Tournament is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, June 9, at Lost Woods Golf Course in Theodosia. The tournament is a two-person scramble with an entry fee of $100 per team. All proceeds are staying local this year, going to the Ozark County Health Department Food Pantry and the Gainesville Youth Empowerment Program’s backpack food project. Checks should be made payable to the Ozark County Health Department.
Prizes will be awarded to winners. In addition, there will be door prizes and extra awards for special events. Following the awards ceremony, organizer Jeff Nash said a pie auction is planned. The public is encouraged to attend and to keep in mind that all the money raised  goes to help those in need right here in Ozark County.
Perhaps the most important thing about the tournament is that the Ozark County Health Department will be offering free PSA screenings from 8 to 10 a.m. that day. Joe Nash,
