Leo and Janice Fischer to be honored at May 8 PPPVFD meeting, dinner

Pontiac Price Place Volunteer Fire Department will honor two long-time community residents and volunteers at its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, May 8, which will start early – at 5 p.m. – to include a potluck dinner in honor of Leo and Janice Fischer, who are moving away. Residents are encouraged to bring a dish to share.
Janice Fischer has served on the Ozark County Ambulance Board and is an active member and officer of the Pontiac Ladies Club. Her husband is a station captain, board member and firefighter for the Pontiac Price Place VFD.
All area residents are invited to attend the dinner and meeting to be held at Station #1 next to the Pontiac post office on W Highway.
