Long-Term Recovery Committee to meet April 24

The Ozark County Long Term Recovery Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the Lions Club building on Third Street in Gainesville. Anyone interested in helping Ozark County residents and neighbors is welcome to attend.
The committee is working with Catholic Charities to reach some of the survivors of last year’s destructive flood. Several people had indicated they could use some assistance but have not replied to calls and messages from the Catholic Charities representative assigned to this area. Those who requested assistance but no longer require it are asked to let Catholic Charities know. Those who do need assistance are also encouraged to call if they have not already done so. Catholic Charities offers assistance to all people regardless of race, religion or nationality. Those receiving assistance do not have to be of the Catholic faith.
