Lutie students to speak at garden club meeting

The Ozark Heritage Garden Club will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the Theodosia United Methodist Church.  At the meeting, Lutie High School agriculture students will speak about the  future of agriculture. The meeting’s hosts, Laura and Bruce Bach, will serve pulled pork. Those attending are asked to bring a side dish, a salad or a dessert to share.
Members are also asked to bring a contribution to be used for the garden basket to be raffled off at the Homegrown & Homemade Festival in Gainesville on May 5.
The Ozark County Heritage Garden Club meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month. New members and guests are welcome to attend the meetings. Annual dues are $10 per household. Attendees are encouraged bring seedlings and plants to share with other members and guests.
