A backfire in the motorhome shown on the left side of this photo reportedly caused a fire Sunday afternoon at a structure on J Highway that formerly housed the Rusty Rail bar, shown at right. Randy Jones and fiancee Deborah Edwards, who lived in a back residential portion of the building, lost nearly everything in the blaze. There were no injuries; the Joneses’ dog also escaped safely. The building was still smoldering with some small flames flickering in parts of the structure Monday afternoon when Times reporter Jessi Dreckman took this photo.
