Zanoni news: Dec. 20, 2017

We finally got l inch of rain from two half-inch showers. We may not get more rain before it comes a snow.

Paul and I went to Mountain Grove and ate supper at the Pizza Hut and got to visit with Wilma Fish a few minutes. She and Randy live down on W Highway from Vanzant.

One of the cold evenings, we went for a drive to Dora and took Highway 14 into Ava. There are lots of hills and hollers around that way. Paul had done dozer work there several years ago.

On Monday of last week Travis, Wally and Paul worked cattle and moved them to a new pasture.

We saw a big white-headed eagle one day on our way to town. It was enjoying a meal of deer meat on the side of the road.

Paul hauled some calves to the sale barn at Ava for Jerald Mahan last week.

Sunday after church, Paul and Dave Morrison went to Branson to help Tom Morrison work cattle and brought some to the sale barn.

Norma Morrison will have her family with her and Leroy for Christmas dinner.

Our sympathy to the families who have lost loved one and get-better wishes to the sick folks.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas holiday and don’t eat too much.
