Dec. 18

9:59 a.m. – Medical: 94-year-old has altered mental status. Ozark County Ambulance responded. Patient was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

3:36 p.m. – Caller reported a stolen gun: Savage model 11-22-250 bolt action with silver Tasco scope, camo sling and brown wood stock. Reporting party suggested a suspect and will come in to fill out statement. 

4:57 p.m. – Caller said someone is messing with her fence. Handled by OCSD officer.

5:59 p.m. – Caller hit deer in her 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. Wanted on record for insurance.

5:59 p.m. – Traffic stop on Highway 160 near Dollar General. OCSD officer issued warning.

8:04 p.m. – Traffic stop on Highway 160 near Chaney Monument. OCSD officer issued warning.

11:21 p.m. – Caller hit a deer on Highway 160 below sheriff’s office. No damage to vehicle; caller is claiming meat.

11:24 p.m. – Traffic stop on Gainesville square. OCSD rendered assistance.

 

Dec. 19

1:03 a.m. – Medical: Subject’s catheter is stopped up. OCSD rendered assistance.

6:47 a.m. – Caller hit deer at Highways 160 and 5 south; vehicle has front-end damage. 

10:36 and 10:40 a.m. – Medical: 36-year-old has overdosed. Theodosia Area VFD first responders, OCA and OCSD responded. Patient was transported to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.

3:36 p.m. – Well-being / security check requested. OCSD rendered assistance.

3:15 p.m. – Caller reported a bunch of white, brown and black cows in his front drive. OCSD contacted animal owner.

4:40 p.m. – Warrant arrest: John Wesley McCullough. 

4:51 p.m. – 911 caller reported brown/black cow out on south side of Highway 160 just east of Isabella city limit sign. OCSD was unable to determine animal owner and contacted Missouri State Highway Patrol.

4:57 p.m. – Multiple calls about a red bull on the south side of Highway 160 near Anderson Propane. OCSD was unable to determine animal owner and contacted MSHP.

5:30 p.m. – Caller reported a scam call claiming to be from IRS and threatening to sue the reporting party. Wanted it on record. OCSD rendered assistance.

6:10 p.m. – Traffic stop on Highway 160 at Seagal Storage. Warning issued.

6:35 p.m. – Caller claims he beat up his live-in girlfriend, and now his grandson is in route to beat him up with a bat. Handled by OCSD officer. Twelve-hour rule was instated and parties were separated.

6:41 p.m. – Caller said a black car is in ditch on two wheels on west end of County Road 806, and no one is around. OCSD and Gainesville Fire Department were dispatched. Parties are with OCSD officer.

9:27 p.m. – Stranded motorist: car with hazards on is partially in roadway at bad corner on Highway 160. OCSD rendered assistance. Ron’s Recovery requested.

 

Dec. 20

2:08 a.m. – Caller on County Road 831 says she hears men talking in her barn and sees vehicle lights down the road. OCSD officer searched the rea and several buildings but found no sign of anyone else on the property.

4:17 a.m. – Medical: 66-year-old female has possible pneumonia. Theodosia Area VFD first responders and OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.

7:33 a.m. – Deceased person: 61-year-old male who has been in bad health. Coroner dispatched.

7:49 a.m. – Lift assistance requested for 72-year-old male. Theodosia Area VFD first responders and OCSD responded.

8:10 a.m. – Caller on County Road 101 said her roommate is threatening to kill her. OCSD responded. Subject arrested.

8:45 a.m. – Elderly person need lift assistance. Theodosia Area VFD first responders responded. 

8:48 a.m. – Suspicious person reported on H Highway. MSHP rendered assistance.

9:14 a.m. – Caller said someone had taken gas and other items from site on Highway 160. Handled by OCSD officer.

10:35 a.m. – Medical: 61-year-old male has irregular heartbeat. Timber Knob VFD first responders and OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.

10:52 a.m. – Caller said a plastic fishing boat has been tied up at the Tecumseh Bridge for the last two weeks. OCSD rendered assistance; reported it to MSHP water division.

1:01 p.m. – Medical: 83-year-old male has high blood sugar. OCA responded. Patient was transported to BRMA.

2:29 p.m. – Caller said someone has pitched a tent on her property on County Road 320. Handled by OCSD officer.

5:01 p.m. – Medical: 79-year-old male is having a reaction to medication. OCA and Theodosia Area VFD first responders responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.

5:15 p.m. – Caller on Z Highway said a subject had taken his mom’s truck and has not returned it. Handled by OCSD officer.

6:52 p.m. – Medical: Elderly female is very ill. Pontiac-Price Place VFD first responders and OCA responded. Patient was transported to OMC.

7:55 p.m. – Medical: 60-year-old male is having possible heart attack. TAVFD first responders and South Howell Ambulance responded. 

8:10 p.m. – Well-being / security check requested on Z Highway. OCSD responded; checked OK.

11:31 p.m. – Caller said she and her husband are arguing; both have been drinking, and children are in the home. OCSD rendered assistance; caller said she is awaiting family to come get her.

 

Dec. 21

12:11 a.m. – Caller said a male subject is throwing pine cones or rocks at his window on County Road 806. OCSD responded; gone on arrival.

2:19 a.m. – OCSD rendered citizen assistance: taking female subject from Hilltop Storage to shelter in West Plains. 

2:56 a.m. – Medical: 78-year-old female having possible heart attack; has chest pain and gassiness. OCA and Gainesville first responders responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.

7:39 a.m. – Prisoners Albert Stanford, Cameron Foster and Angela Wilcox and Austin Fann (who was picked up in Greene County)were transported to Missouri Department of Corrections: Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center and Women’s Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Cor-rectional Center in Vandalia. 

8:52 a.m. – Caller on County Road 517 said her mailbox had been run over. OCSD rendered assistance, talked with caller on phone.

9:03 a.m. – Medical: 91-year-old male has the flu. Lick Creek VFD first responders and OCA responded. Patient transported to BRMC.

10:52 a.m. – Medical: Elderly male is having chest pains. Dora VFD first responders and Cox Ambulance responded.

4:26 p.m. – Unknown medical situation. OCA responded.

4:55 p.m. – Caller said two 100-pound propane tanks and a pile of scrap metal were stolen from site on County Road 829. Wanted it on record.

5:21 p.m. – Caller reported a red Ford Focus driving at high speed in Gainesville. OCSD responded; unable to locate.

8:15 p.m. – Caller said a white Ford Ranger is sitting at her father’s house on Z Highway, and no one lives there. OCSD rendered assistance.

8:40 p.m. – Medical: 65-year-old female is disoriented. Wasola VFD and OCA responded. Patient was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

8:48 p.m. – Caller on County Road 806 says a car keeps revving up its engine. Handled by OCSD officer.

9:32 p.m. – Medical: 65-year-old female has chest pains. Theodosia Area VFD and ambulance from Taney County responded. Air Evac is on ground standby.

 

Dec. 22

8:20 a.m. – Caller on County Road 536 said someone is in her house. Handled by OCSD officer.

10:40 a.m. – Assistance requested by Department of Family Services at a site; negative contact.

11:42 a.m. – Caller reported brown cows in her yard on County Road 326. OCSD rendered assistance; unable to contact animal owner.

1:15 p.m. – Well-being / security check requested on County Road 830. OCSD rendered assistance. Reporting parting was able to make contact with the subject at 1:45 p.m. Everyone is OK.

4:03 and 4:04 p.m. – Vehicle accident: vehicle is off the roadway on J Highway. Lick Creek VFD responded.

 4:47 p.m. – Medical: 54-year-old female with COPD. Tecumseh VFD  and OCA responded. Patient was transported to OMC.

7:07 p.m. – Gainesville caller said her ex-husband was in the front yard yelling and screaming at her because the kids wouldn’t go with him this weekend. Handled by OCSD officer.

7:36 p.m. – Well-being / security check requested near James Bridge. OCSD rendered assistance.

8:46 p.m. – Medical: Elderly male with COPD. OCA and Tecumseh VFD responded. Patient was transported to OMC.

9:30 p.m. – Caller reported car in ditch at County Road 314 and FF Highway, and no one is around. MSHP rendered assistance.

10:29 p.m. – Medical: 56-year-old male is having possible heart attack. Cox Ambulance from Ava responded. Patient was transported to OMC.

10:39 – Burglary alarm activated at Country Tire. OCSD responded; checked OK.

10:48 p.m. – Caller reported a cow out near Highway 160. OCSD contacted owner. 

11:52 p.m. – 911 caller reported a domestic disturbance; yelling could be heard. Caller called back and said she needs to be escorted from the property. OCSD rendered assistance.

 

Dec. 23

12:29 a.m. – Traffic stop at Highway 181 near Bulldog Apartments. OCSD rendered assistance.

11:44 a.m. – Medical: 42-year-old female is having seizure. Wasola VFD was toned out and asked for mutual aid from Gainesville Fire. OCA also responded. 

1:55 p.m. – Medical: 36-year-old male has fallen in the tub, is having seizure. Gainesville first responders and OCA responded.

5:57 p.m. – Caller on County Road 308A said her no trespassing sign and keep out signs have been torn down. Wanted it on record.

6:24 p.m. – Dora VFD was requested in mutual aid for medical call in Douglas County.

6:38 p.m. – OnStar system reported vehicle accident on Z Highway 2 miles from Highway 5. Vehicle hit car. MSHP responded. Wasola VFD responded for traffic control.

6:44 p.m. – Suspicious incident reported at 42 Kingdom Hall.

7:32 p.m. – Medical: 26-year-old female has kidney pain. OCT responded. Patient transported to BRMC.

7:42 p.m. – Traffic stop on Highway 160. OCSD.

10:57 p.m. – 29-year-old is out of control. OCSD rendered assistnace.

 

Dec. 24

12:05 a.m. – Caller said a woman was sitting outside Bullseye for hours and now is sitting on floor inside store. OCSD rendered assistance but was unable to find somewhere for the homeless woman to go so she is staying at the sheriff’s office for the night.

2:08 a.m. – Traffic stop on H Highway. OCSD rendered assistance.

2:30 a.m. – Alarm activated at Dollar General. OCSD responded. Checked OK.

7:31 a.m. – Caller on County Road 830 said dogs are chasing his cows. OCSD officer spoke with reporting party.

9:25 a.m. – Sheep in roadway on P Highway near P-11. TAVFD responded.

10:09 a.m. – Caller said a large hay bale is smoldering on east side of Highway 95 near Pond Fork Bridge. Thornfield VFD was contacted; landowner will be contacted.

11:14 a.m. – Medical: 63-year-old female needs oxygen; levels are at 88. OCA responded. Patient was transported to OMC.

12:07 p.m. – Alarm activated at Gainesville Building Supply. OCSD responded; all doors are secure and key holder will reset alarm.

6:38 p.m. – Medical: 62-year-old male is having trouble breathing. OCA responded. Patient transported to BRMC.

8:21 p.m. – Medical: 62-year-old female has low blood pressure and is dizzy. Caney Mountain VFD responded.

 

Dec. 25

3:55 a.m. – Alarm activated at Dustin’s Body Shop. Business owner was contacted and canceled false alarm.

6:40 a.m. – Caller on County Road 830 said a subject is shining a spotlight at cars as they pass by his house, and he was also seen with a shotgun yesterday.
