Studdard files for change of judge

Jerry Studdard, 52, of Wasola, charged with forcible sodomy - deviate sexual intercourse by forcible compulsion and two counts of statuary sodomy, was scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 14 by Associate Judge Cynthia MacPherson; however, defense attorney Scott Gregory Taylor on Nov. 11 filed a motion for a continuance in the case. Taylor also filed a motion for a change of judge. That motion has not been sustained or overruled yet.

Studdard is charged in connection with allegations that he sexually abused multiple children over a 10-year span. At least one victim described in the court documents was younger than 12 years old at the time of the alleged abuse.
