2018 registration for Ozark Football Association to be held here July 18

Registration for Ozark Football Association’s 2018 tackle football and cheerleading will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at Gainesville High School. Football is open to third through sixth graders, with third and fourth graders in one division and fifth and sixth graders in the other. Cheerleading is open to students in kindergarten through seventh grades. The program is not school affiliated and is open to all children in the area. The child’s grade is determined by the 2018-2019 school year.
Practices, to be held in Gainesville, will begin the week of Aug. 13; the season runs through October. Games will be played on Saturdays in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
The cost to register is $70 for football and $60 for cheerleading, which includes uniforms and equipment. Cheerleaders need to be present on July 18 for uniform fitting, but football players will be issued equipment at a later date. Online registration is also available at ozarkfootballassociation.com.
