Dates change for Piland junior camp

The Missouri Association of General Baptists Piland Youth Camp will hold kiddie camp for kindergarten through third grade on June 9. This one-day camp starts at 9 a.m. and closes at 6:30 p.m. Director Sandy Walker can be contacted at 417-543-0351.
Director Linda Hannaford announced last week that the dates for junior camp for grades 3-6 have been changed to June 10-13. Registration will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 10, and that night’s services start at 6 p.m. with a performance by Broken Project.
Senior camp will be June 17-20. Registration begins at 4 p.m., and camp will close after services Wednesday, June 20. Broken Project will again kick off the week. Brother Davin Friend will be the evangelist for junior and senior camps. The theme for this year is “Diamonds,” and lessons will use “Proverbs and Parables” to show how God’s Word builds wisdom to refine believers’ lives to make them into diamonds.
Hannaford invites all area churches and parents to support the evening services for young people. Services begin at 6:30 p.m. The camp is 100 percent supported by donations, and no child has to pay to attend, she said. For more information, contact Hannaford at 417-543-3359 and also to pre-register, which is encouraged. Camp cleanup is set to begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 9.
