Caulfield VFD to host hunters’ breakfast  fundraiser Saturday

A deer hunters’ breakfast and bake sale fundraiser will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Caulfield firehouse on Highway 160. The cost of the breakfast will be $8 per person and will include pancakes, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, coffee, soda, juice or water. 

 

Tecumseh VFD hosts Nov. 10 hunters’ breakfast

The Tecumseh Volunteer Fire Department will host their annual hunters’ breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the firehouse on Highway 160 east of Lake Norfork. The menu will include biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, pancakes and drinks. The price will be $7 for adults, $3 for children.

TVFD volunteers invite area residents and hunters to “come on in and enjoy the warmth as well as friendship. Help support the fire department and swap deer stories as well.”

Everyone is welcome.

 

PPPVFD hunters’ dinner will be served Nov. 10

The Pontiac/Price Place fire department is hosting a hunters’ turkey dinner at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at  PPPVFD fire house #1, next to the Pontiac post office. 

The dinner will include turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, cranberries, rolls, desserts and beverages for a $7 donation. 

To get to PPPVFD, take Highway 5 south from Gainesville to Highway W. Continue 8 eight miles to the firehouse.
