Ozark Area Land Trust topic of next garden club meeting

Nic Rogers, Stewardship Specialist

Nic Rogers, a stewardship specialist with the Ozark Regional Land Trust, will talk about the work ORLT is doing in Ozark County’s Alford Forest, Bryant Creek and the conservation areas in Missouri and Arkansas at the next meeting of the Ozark Heritage Garden Club, to be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, at the Theodosia United Methodist Church on Highway 160 in Theodosia. The meeting will begin with a potluck lunch hosted by Joyce Barnes, who will provide lasagna for everyone. Attendees are asked to bring a side dish, salad or dessert to share with the group.

The Ozark Heritage Garden Club is a community-based membership organization that meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Members are asked to contribute annual dues of $10 per household. New members and guests are welcome. Members are encouraged to bring seedlings and plants to share with other members and guests. The group collaborates on various community gardening projects each year.
