Pontiac Cove 5K Fun Run/Walk set for Saturday

The fifth annual Pontiac Cove 5K Fun Run/Walk is set to begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 26. The event is sponsored by Pontiac Cove Marina and Lake Harbour Resort; proceeds go to the Pontiac Fireworks Fund.
Awards will be presented to overall male and female winners and age division winners. In addition to prizes for winners, organizer Jabet Wade has planned several giveaways throughout the day for participants, including free lodging at local resorts, boat rentals, pizzas from Just Jackie’s, local photography, hats and more. Pre-registered kids will receive a grab bag full of goodies and can enjoy a bounce house sponsored by Century Bank of the Ozarks.
The entry fee is $25 for adults, $15 for kids 12 and under. Registration forms are available at the Ozark County Times office and at Pontiac Cove Marina.
