Tecumseh VFD to host chili cook-off Feb. 24

The Tecumseh Volunteer Fire Department will host its first annual chili cook-off from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Tecumseh Community Building on Highway 160 east of Norfork Lake. The event is open to everyone and will feature live music. Chili will be served for $7 for adults and $3 for children. Those wishing to enter their chili in the competition are asked to bring it to the event by 12:30 p.m. that day. Judges will be Ozark County officials including Sheriff Darrin Reed, Presiding Commissioner John Turner and Emergency Management Coordinator Brett Meints.
