Yellville, Arkansas-based Marion County Paving crews, subcontrated with the Olgoonik Co. of Anchorage, Alaska, began work Wednesday, Jan. 22, to rebuild the roadway, parking lot and boat ramp at the Tecumseh access off Highway 160 at Norfork Lake. Officials said that, due to the potential hazards involved with construction operations, the access will be closed to all vehicle and foot traffic until the project is completed. Only construction personnel and Corps of Engineers employees will be allowed into the access during the renovation, which is scheduled for completion in May.  For more information on the project, contact the Corps of Engineers Mountain Home, Arkansas, office at 870-425-2700.
