Lutie will hold preschool and kindergarten screenings for March 23
Lutie R-VI School District will hold preschool and kindergarten screenings Friday, March 23, at Theododia United Methodist Church, across Highway 160 from the school.
Screenings will begin at 8 a.m. and will close at 1:30 p.m. Each screening will take approximately one hour to complete. Parents are asked to stay at the church in the waiting area while their child is screened.
Parents are required to bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate, a current shot record and a completed pre-registration packet with them at the time of screening.
Children from birth to age 3 will be screened by Pat Dooley, Parents as Teachers coordinator. Children 3 to 5 years old will be screened by certified Lutie teachers.
Screenings will be done by appointment only, and appointments are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Contact Lutie R-VI School office at 273-4150 to schedule an appointment time. Once the appointment is scheduled, a pre-registration packet will be mailed, which must be completed before the appointment.
