New members appointed to Gainesville Board of Aldermen

Two new members were recently appointed to fill vacancies on the Gainesville Board of Aldermen. Jeff Lamar was appointed to the represent the West Ward, replacing longtime council member Rocky Sullivan, who resigned earlier this year. Renee Schmucker was appointed to represent the Center Ward, replacing Lee Bowen, who recently moved out of the area.
