Serving at Christmastime


Marine Corps SSgt. Kyle Hogan, second from right, participated in the Baxter County Wreaths Across America ceremony Dec. 15 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. The program, which places a wreaths on veterans’ graves in the area, was brought to Baxter County this year by Mountain Home floral designer Heather Duggins after she visited Washington, D.C. Hogan, who lives in Gainesville, serves in the Marine Corps recruiting office in Mountain Home.

Kyle Hogan, and 6-year-old son Owen, were also asked by the Marine Corps Reserve and Freedom Riders of West Plains to participate in the West Plains Toys for Tots campaign on Nov. 3. Hogan lives in Gainesville with his wife Sarah Hambelton Hogan, their son Owen and 3-year-old daughter Emery. Kyle is the son of Jeff and Janice Hogan. Photos courtesy of Sarah Hogan.
