SHERIFF’S REPORT April 9- April 15, 2018

April 9
9:38 a.m. – Caller said neighbor’s cattle are on her property on Docs Drive. OCSD officer spoke with reporting party on phone.
10:51 a.m. – Caller on County Road 110 reported a fraud / scam call: a computer person wanting access to her computer. Reporting party did not give it.
11:14 a.m. – Caller reported goats out on the roadway on O Highway east of Smokey Road. OCSD called possible owner. He is going to check.
2:55 p.m. – MSHP has arrested one subject on a warrant on Hillside Drive with several others present. Subject transported to OCSD.
4:59 p.m. – Caller said two children are standing on Highway 181 near school throwing walnuts and sticks at vehicles passing by. Officer spoke to parents, who assured officer this would not happen anymore.
4:59 p.m. – Caller said a man driving a gray 3/4-ton Suburban is stopping at houses on Highway 160 in Tecumseh area asking for  drugs. Referred to MSHP.
5:56 p.m. – Disabled vehicle on Highway 160 on west side of Tecumseh Bridge. OCSD rendered assistance. Tecumseh VFD assisted with traffic control.
6:35 p.m. – Caller says his child was hit in the head with a rock and his ex-wife has stolen his car. Handled by OCSD officer.
8:33 p.m. – Caller said his step-son and his wife have been threatening him with bodily harm. OCSD responded. Subject was arrested.
9:33  p.m. – Medical: 15-month-old child is choking. Ozark County Ambulance responded.

April 10
11:15 p.m. –  Medical: 62-year-old female with COPD is having trouble breathing.
1:04 p.m. – Both parties in a domestic / disturbance incident called, arguing that both parties had disabled the car.  Handled by OCSD officer.
1:48 p.m. – Brush fire on County Road 542. Tecumseh VFD responded with Bakersfield VFD in mutual aid. Fire controlled at 2:18 p.m.
3:19 p.m. – Medical: 53-year-old male is pale and sick to stomach. OCA and Pontiac Price Place VFD responded. Patient was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
6:28 p.m. – Brush fire reported on County Road 553.  Assistance rendered.
6:31 p.m. – Caller says she was run off JJ Highway by a red Chevy pickup headed toward Squires. OCSD responded. Unable to locate.
6:53 p.m. – Noise complaint on County Road 557. Handled by OCSD officer.
9:19 p.m. – Caller said someone is wandering around her house. She could hear a male voice outside the window, and a standard-shift truck is in the quarry.  OCSD responded; gone on arrival.
9:28 p.m. – Medical: 86 year-old male who had recent hernia surgery is retaining fluid. OCA and Theodosia Area VFD responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.
10:23 p.m. – Caller said a female subject is on his property in violation of ex parte / full order. Handled by OCSD officer.
10:37 p.m. – Caller said he is seeing people on his property on Sailfin Dr. OCSD rendered assistance.

April 11
3:47 a.m. – Caller hit a deer on Highway 160 near Isabella in his Hyundai Sonata. Slight front-end damage. Caller is taking meat.
5:46 a.m. – Cow and calf are in middle of the roadway on Highway 160 east of P Highway. Calf is lying in road. Unknown if injured. Animal owner and MoDOT were contacted.
10:27 a.m. – Semi-truck got stuck at Highway 160 and old Highway 160 by Tecumseh store and tore up a septic system. Handled by OCSD officer.
11:47 a.m. – Wasola caller said items had been stolen out of her storage shed and pawned. OCSD rendered assistance.
4:00 p.m. – Warrant arrest in Caulfield: Joshua Cobb.
5:16 p.m. –Motorcycle accident on Highway 160 west of Cloud 9.  OCA and Caulfield VFD responded.
5:22 p.m. – Medical: male subject is breathing but unresponsive. South Howell responded. Call was canceled at 5:32 p.m.
6:52 p.m. – Vehicle rollover accident west of Ozark-Howell County Line. MSHP rendered assistance. Caul-field VFD and OCA responded.
7:25 p.m. – OCSD assisted another agency, DFS.
8:38 p.m. – Burglary reported on County Road 643B. Caller said his home has been broken into and several things are missing. OCSD rendered assistance.

April 12
7:52 a.m. – Caller said that about 11 p.m. the previous night, someone spun around in his yard on Cade Road. OCSD officer spoke with caller on phone.
9:08 a.m. – Caller reported a suspicious white Buick on Highway 160 west. OCSD rendered assistance.
9:23 a.m. – Medical: 75-year-old male cut his leg while mowing and can’t stop the bleeding. OCA and Theodosia Area VFD responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.
9:42 a.m. – Drunk driver in white SUV reported on Highway 5 south. Handled by OCSD officer.
1:15 p.m. – Stealing incident reported at Bullseye. Report taken
1:32 p.m. – Medical: 61-year-old female is not feeling well and is dizzy.  
3:24 p.m. – Medical: subject transported from BRMC to Gainesville Health Care Center.
3:26 p.m. – Stranded motorist at Highways 160 and H. Theodosia Area VFD responded.
3:28 p.m. – Medical: 62-year-old male is having possible stroke. OCA and Tecumseh VFD responded.
4:13 p.m. – Medical: 75-year-old female kidney patient has fever and is unstable. Cox Ambulance responded.
4:55 p.m. – Death notification. Person has died.
5:33 p.m. – Medical: 56-year-old male is having trouble breathing. OCA and Lick Creek VFD responded. Patient was transported to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.
6:00 p.m. – Caller said four-wheelers are driving through his yard on Highway 160. Handled by OCSD officer.
6:35 p.m. – Caller complained of neighbor playing loud music on Harden Drive. Handled by OCSD officer.
7:46 p.m. – Lift assistance at Harlin Heights. Gainesville Fire responded.
7:52 p.m. – Loud music resported in Gainesville. OCSD responded. Michael Hand arrested on a Greene County warrant.
10:37 p.m. – MSHP reported suspicious vehicle: white Ford Ranger along ditch on Highway 5 south near Arkansas line. Fence has been damaged.
10:57 p.m. – Caller reported hearing noises behind his house on County Road 348. OCSD Officer met reporting party’s son, who checked it out and said everything is OK.

April 13
3:09 a.m. – Lift assistance needed. OCSD rendered assistance.
4:54 a.m. – Caller said her ex-boyfriend is intoxicated and kicked in the door to her house and is breaking things. OCSD responded. Unable to locate; suspect left on foot.
9:50 a.m. –Amber Davis arrested on County Road 618.
10:21 a.m. – Juvenile incident at Dora School. OCSD officer took report.
10:23 a.m. – Safety incident at Lutie School. OCSD officer took report.
1:01 p.m. – Caller said two people in a small red pickup are going through a house on Country Road 863. Handled by officer. Owner of house said everything is fine.
5:20 p.m. – Caller said her 2005 BMW had been keyed. OCSD rendered assistance.
5:34 a.m. – Well-being / security check requested on a child. Handled by officer.
6:30 p.m. – Medical: 87-year-old female has fallen and has possible broken shoulder. OCA and Theodosia Area VFD responded.
7:01 p.m. – Caller said a subject did not show up for child exchange in Gainesville. OCSD rendered assistance. Caller needed this on record.
7:24 p.m. – Caller wants a subject removed from a residence on County Road 806. OCSD took report.
8:08 p.m. – Medical: 52-year-old female is breathing but unresponsive. OCA and Gainesville Fire responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.
9:48 p.m. – Vehicle accident: vehicle went through fence on Highway 5 south of T Highway. OCSD rendered assistance. Ron’s Recovery dispatched.
9:53 p.m. – Caller said lightning has hit a residence on Cedar Oak Drive in Gainesville. Gainesville Fire, Lick Creek VFD responded. Fire under control at 11:27 p.m.
11:41 p.m. – Water is over T Highway at low-water bridge near Mammoth church.
11:44 p.m. – Tree in roadway at Harlin Drive and Fifth Street. OCSD rendered assistance.

April 14
9:12 a.m. – Caller said his neighbor’s cows are in his hay field again on Highway 95.
9:36 a.m. – Caller said he has retaken possession of his rental property per court order and several items from renters still remain in the property on Highway 181. Wanted it on record.
12:11 p.m. – Caller said a man who does not live there is walking around in Airport Trailer Park, loitering. While reporting party was on the phone, subject approached the reporting party and began yelling. Possible physical altercation. Handled by officer.
5:46 p.m. – Caller on County Road 150 says a female is living in a vacant home on his property, and he wants her removed. Summer Stephens arrested.
9:09 p.m. – Underage party reported on J Highway. OCSD rendered assistance.
10:13 p.m. – Caller said her 16-year-old nephew hit her 13-year-old son. Wanted it on record. OCSD rendered assistance.
11:16 p.m. – Disturbance reported at Blair Bridge. OCSD rendered assistance.

April 15
12:41 a.m. – Medical: 59-year-old reported was bitten by spider on the leg. OCA responded. Twelve-hour rule instated.
12:54 a.m. – Traffic stop on KK Highway. Subject arrested.
1:42 a.m. – Traffic stop on Highway 160 east on hill headed out of Gainesville. OCSD rendered assistance.
5:22 and 5:38 a.m. – Structure fire reported at 72 Zastrow Drive. Unsure if male subject is still inside.  
7:53 a.m. – Medical: 76-year-old female in respiratory distress. OCA responded. Patient transported to BRMC.
8:32 a.m. – Medical: 47-year-old female has elevated blood sugar. Ava ambulance and Lick Creek VFD responded.
9:13 a.m. – Stalled vehicle on JJ Highway. Sam’s wrecker service dispatched.
9:29 a.m. – Medical: 31-year-old male having possible stroke. Gainesville Fire and OCA responded. Patient transported to OMC.
9:55 a.m. – Cow out on roadway at Highways 181 and CC. OCSD responded; unable to locate.
10:15 a.m. – Vehicle accident on Highway 95 at Bell Bridge. Two people, unknown injuries. Brixey-Rockbridge VFD, Eastern Douglas VFD, two units Cox-Ava ambulance, OCSD and MSHP responded. Air Evac declined due to weather. Two patients transported to Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
11:03 a.m. – Stranded motorist is stuck in mud at Stump Hole on County Road 551, and water level is elevating. Tecumseh and Bakersfield VFDs responded. Vehicle has been abandoned at this location. No motorist located. VIN checked to a West Plains resident, who said he had traded the vehicle to another person.  Vehicle was entered into MULES as towed vehicle.
12:34 p.m. – Caller says a trailer being pulled by a red pickup on Highway 160 near Tecumseh Bridge is dragging its tailgate. Referred to MSHP.
3:20 p.m. – Caller said her house on County Road 903 had been broken into. OCSD took report.
4:39 p.m. – Neighbors on County Road 843 are fighting over dogs. Handled by officer, who spoke to all parties involved.
8:07 p.m. – Caller said a male subject won’t leave Subway store. Handled by officer.
