Feb. 26
7:39 a.m. –  Security alarm at Court Square business. OCSD rendered assistance. Canceled by alarm company.
9:52 a.m. – Caller said a person who was evicted earlier is at the property on County Road 513 and will not leave. Handled by OCSD officer. Parties were separated.
12:59 p.m. – Two-vehicle accident on Highway 160. Tecumseh VFD, OCSD, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Ozark County Ambulance and Air Evac responded. Patient was transported.
1:23 p.m. – Grass fire on County Road 633. Theodosia Area VFD responded.
4:21 p.m. – Reporting party says trailer lamp on 28-foot trailer was stolen and doors were opened while he was gone today. OCSD took report.
6:20 p.m. _ Brush Fire on Cedar Street in Bakersfield. Bakersfield VFD dispatched; call was canceled at 6:31 p.m. Fire is a controlled burn.
6:54 p.m. – Four-wheeler traveling in middle of Highway 160 near Harden-ville Store. OCSD responded, and MSHP was contacted. Unable to locate.
7:01 p.m. – Reporting party says a male subject driving a blue GMC pickup stopped in front of his house on County Road 513 for five minutes while his daughter was playing outside. OCSD officer spoke with reporting party and said he would attempt to contact the male subject.
8:12 p.m. – Medical: 58-year-old female has fallen on County Road 615. Timber Knob VFD and OCA responded. Patient was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
11:18 p.m. – Traffic stop on  Highway 160 near Chaney Monument. OCSD rendered assistance.

Feb. 27
7:15 a.m. – A blue-gray car with no plates has been sitting on County Road 557 for several days. OCSD rendered assistance.
9:35 a.m. – Caller on County Road 646 said four big white dogs attacked her dog. OCSD rendered assistance.
1:27 p.m. –  Medical: cedar log fell on a man’s leg on County Road 915. OCSD and Thornfield VFD and Air Evac responded.
2:01 p.m. – Prisoner transport: Haley Sullivan.
2:18 p.m. – Jeremiah Kowerduck arrested in Wasola.
4:00 p.m. – Brush fire on Highway 14.5 miles west of Twin Bridges. Eastern Douglas VFD requested mutual aid from  Dora VFD.
8:54 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle is reportedly driving up and down County Roads 328 and 334 very slowly. OCSD responded. Gone on arrival.
9:34 p.m. – A subject was reported to be driving a 2004 red Chevy truck eastbound on Highway 160 into Theo-dosia. Subject was arrested. Sam’s Towing dispatched.

Feb. 28
4:09 a.m. – Medical: 94-year-old female needs list assistance. Caulfield  and Tecumseh VFDs responded.
10:46 a.m. – Howell Oregon Electric Coop reported that someone has been tampering with a power meter on Highway 101 north of Bakersfield. Handled by OCSD officer.
11:10 a.m. – Medical: 54-year-old female fell from standing and can’t move her legs. OCA and Bakersfield VFD responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.
11:31 a.m. – Caller said horses on Highway 95 look like they are starving, and some look like they’re dead as they are lying down stretched out. OCSD rendered assistance.
11:39 a.m. – Caller hit deer in 2013 Toyota Tundra on Highway 5 north. They are taking the meat.
2:06 p.m. – Medical: 48-year-old male wants to go to stress unit in West Plains. OCA and Tecumseh VD responded. Subject ran off into the woods.
2:13 p.m. – Medical: 48-year-old male. Handled by officer.
3:55 p.m. – Security fire alarm activated at Town & Country. OCSD rendered assistance. False alarm.
5:33 p.m. – Disturbance: Gainesville caller is fighting with her grandkids. Handled by OCSD officer.
6:15 p.m. – Suspicious incident reported at trailer park. Handled by OCSD officer.

March 1
12:21 a.m. – Vehicle stop on Highway 160 below sheriff’s office. Handled by officer.
6:45 a.m. – Inmate transport from St. Louis: David Michael Johnson.
7:43 a.m. – Medical: 65-year-old male with emphysema. OCA, Gaines-ville Fire responded. Patient was transported to BRMC.
8:49 a.m. – Found dog: a female Lab and maybe a pit bull on County Road 619. OCSD rendered assistance.
10:14 a.m.  – Caller wants boyfriend removed from a residence on Highway 160. OCSD responded. Subject had left. Caller wanted it on record. She called back and requested a deputy because subject had returned. Subject arrested.
1:35 p.m. – Disturbance: Woman is at Gainesville business and will not leave. Donna Maurer arrested on warrant from Douglas County.
7:00 p.m. – Disturbance: female and male are fighting at a trailer park. OCSD responded. Checked OK. Parties have been separated.

March 2
11:42 a.m. – Brush fire resulting from controlled burn on County Road 787 near state line. Lick Creek VFD responded with mutual aid requested from Clark-ridge (Arkansas) VFD.
1:03 p.m. – Stealing reported on Highway 101 in Bakersfield. OCSD rendered assistance.
1:13 p.m. – Dora VFD requested for mutual aid with Eastern Douglas VFD in response to house and brush fire on County Road 264 off W Highway in Douglas County.
1:51 p.m. – Careless and imprudent driver: silver semi-truck with orange box trailer is reportedly all over the road on Highway 5 south. Referred to MSHP.
2:17 p.m. – Wasola VFD requested for mutual aid to Squires for fire at Highways 5 north and N, but WVFD was unable to respond.
3:13 p.m. – Caller reported items stolen form a storage unit. OCSD took report.
3:21 p.m. – Brush fire on County Road 830. Thornfield VFD responded.
4:03 p.m. – Caller reported dead deer on shoulder of road in Isabella. OCSD left message for MoDOT.
4:38 p.m. – Reporting party in Tecumseh said a subject will not let her have daughter this weekend. Needed it on record.
5:50 p.m. – Caller in Gainesville said subject did not meet with child. Needed it on record.
6:48 p.m.– Disturbance reported in Tecumseh. OCSD responded; subject arrested.
8:03 p.m.– Subject transported after 96-hour mental evaluation was ordered.
8:21 p.m. – OCSD officer aided another agency in regard to report of subject hitting a child.
11:37 p.m. – Stop sign has been knocked over at Highways 95 and 160. Handled by OCSD officer.

March 3
1:00 a.m. – Subject who usually leaves for work around 9:30 p.m. hasn’t made it to work in West Plains. OCSD checked; subject was found at her residence and is OK.
2:47 a.m. – Caller reported a fire near the water tower in Bakersfield. OCSD rendered assistance; fire was in the yard of someone who was burning leaves.
5:18 a.m. – Medical: 84-year-old female fell a day ago and now is having trouble moving her legs. OCA responded. Patient was transported to OMC.
8:10 a.m. – Prisoner transport: Larry Sanders, Phelps County.
9:11 a.m. – Stop sign is down at Highway 95 and County Road 855. Referred to MoDOT.
12:10 p.m. – Controlled burn on V Highway 1 mile from Elijah is now burning a hay barn. Tecumseh and Caulfield VFDs were toned for standby only. Property owner is going to let the fire burn and attempt to control it.
12:34 p.m. – Well-being check requested on a male subject. OCSD responded; checked OK. Subject will contact the person who requested the check.
12:46 p.m. – Reporting party says a female subject has been told not to be on her property, but she has come through twice, arguing with her boyfriend at the location. OCSD rendered assistance.
1:23 p.m. – Medical: 11-year-old female at Bullseye had four-wheeler accident and is complaining of leg and head injuries. OCA, Gainesville Fire responded; patient was transported to OMC.
1:53 p.m. – Reporting party said someone has broken into an outbuilding at his residence. Officer spoke with reporting party, who wants this on record for now.
3:11 p.m. – Brush fire on County Road 578 off V Highway. Tecumseh VFD responded.
4:40 p.m. – Caller said his neighbors are dozing his property on Chet Mountain Way. OCSD officers tried to call the reporting party but got no answer.
5:47 and 5:51 p.m. – Vehicle accident at Highways 5 and 160. MSHP,  Timber Knob VFD and Ron’s Recovery responded.
7:24 p.m. – Careless and imprudent driver is reportedly all over roadway on Highway 160. OCSD responded; unable to locate.
7:55 p.m. – Medical: 33-year-old injured in ATV accident at Cloud 9 Ranch. OCA responded.
8:49 p.m. – Caller on Highway 5 south said a subject showed up at her house drunk and wants to come into her house. Wanted it on record.
9:39 p.m. – Male and female are reportedly causing a disturbance at the VFW. Handled by OCSD officer.

March 4
12:06 a.m. – Traffic stop on County Road 503. Subject arrested: Joseph Estes.
7:39 a.m. – Caller on McKinley Lane said neighbor’s dogs, chickens and pig are constantly at her house and in her yard, digging up plants. OCSD officer spoke with subject and warned her to keep her animals on her own property.
9:44 a.m. – Warrant arrest at Angler’s Place.
11:24 a.m. –  Medical: 94-year-old female has pulled out her feeding tube. Caulfield VFD and OCA responded. Patient was transported to OMC.
12:22 p.m. – Caller on Bone Yard Drive says her mailbox was shot and destroyed last night.
12:24 p.m. – Medical: 31-year-old female is having a seizure. Cox ambulance responded.
1:12 p.m. – Caller on County Road 803B reported that two hood scoops valued at $200 were stolen off an S-10 Blazer. OCSD rendered assistance.
1:48 p.m. – OCSD aided another agency, DFS.
3:53 p.m. – Caller on Martingale said someone has shot two of her cats. Wanted it on record.
5:22 p.m. – Caller on Carson Lane said she returned home to find windows broken out and cash lying in the yard. OCSD took report.
7:09 p.m. – Caller at a business says a female there has run up a bill of $182 and now cannot pay for it. Caller will not press charges but does not want her in the business anymore.
10:17 p.m. – Caller on HH Highway said someone has put a damaged road sign in her mail box. Wanted it on record.
