Sheriff suspects foul play in missing person case

Willis Rex Davidson

Ozark County Sheriff Darrin Reed is asking area residents for any information they may have related to the whereabouts and disappearance of 52-year-old Willis Rex Davidson. In an April 11 Facebook post, Reed said that Davidson, an Ozark County resident, was reported missing to Douglas County authorities by his mother on Nov. 8, 2018. His mother indicated that he had been missing a little over a week at that point. He was last seen on Oct. 31, 2018.

Reed said the sheriff’s department has interviewed several people in the past two weeks concerning the case, and deputies suspect foul play may be involved.

Anyone with information concerning Davidson’s whereabouts or actions that may have led to his disappearance is asked to call the Ozark County Sheriff’s Department at 417-679-4633.
