Two injured Sunday in crash on ice-slick Highway 95
Elizabeth Conley, 21, and Andrew McDougall, 19, both of Thornfield, sustained minor injuries in a Jan. 7 two-vehicle crash, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report filed by Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper J. Roberts. Both were transported to an unknown medical facility by a private vehicle.
According to the MSHP report, Conley was traveling northbound on Highway 95, about 3 miles north of Longrun, in a 1996 Nissan passenger car around 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, when the vehicle lost control on an ice-covered roadway and struck a 2008 Ford truck driven by 58-year-old Earnest White of Sturgis, Mississippi, that was traveling southbound on Highway 95. McDougall was a passenger in Conley’s vehicle. All three individuals were wearing seat belts, the report says, which also says White had insurance but Conley did not.
