Two men wanted out of Michigan arrested at Nottinghill residence
Ozark County Sheriff’s Deputies found and arrested two wanted Michigan fugitives Oct. 20 inside a home on County Road 818C in the Nottinghill area.
Aaron Perry, 27, and Nolan Woodworth, 26, both of Newport, Michigan, were arrested at the residence at 1:58 p.m. by Deputies Justin Urich, Dustin Smith and Justin Brown. OCSD canine Rye was also on scene but was not involved in the apprehension.
Perry is wanted on a parole-violation issued from the Michigan Department of Corrections. He had originally pleaded guilty to aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer in Monroe County, Michigan, last year. The incident reportedly occurred Jan. 3, 2017.
Woodword was also wanted on a probation violation issued by the Michigan Department of Corrections in a case in which he pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a motor vehicle. The incident reportedly occurred March 12, 2019.
An extradition hearing was held for both inmates Oct. 21 before Associate Judge Raymond Gross. The extradition waivers were sent to the governor’s office.
At press time, the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office said the pair remained in custody in the Ozark County Jail awaiting transport by Michigan authorities.
