Neighborhood News

I believe spring has sprung. The trees are really green, and the dogwood trees are beautiful.

I am sure lots of gardens are being planted.

We had some turkey breasts last week. A friend’s son who killed one during youth season shared with us, and was it ever good! We hope the starting of the turkey season beginning Monday turns out good for everyone.

The guys worked another bunch of cows and calves Friday.

I received a call from Sheila (Johnson) Sturdifant who lives in Seymour. She was a good friend of our daughter Carma all through high school. We had a good visit.

The hummingbirds have arrived.

We saw a little terrapin on the road Saturday evening. This is a sign of rain – and it happened.

We want to commend the sheriff’s department on their good work.

On Sunday, Wayne Mallow’s daughter Misty and her family were with us at church.

Sunday evening Paul and I stopped to see Richard. He was watering the new flowers he had bought at the Amish auction at Seymour.

Everyone have a good week and enjoy the warmer days.
