Alicia Anderson Sanders, 63

Alicia Gay Anderson Sanders, 63, of Gainesville, died peacefully at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas, on Feb. 11, 2021. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date due to current covid-19 concerns. 

She was born Aug. 14, 1957, in Gainesville, the daughter of Mearl and Alyene Hammack Anderson. She graduated from Gainesville High School in 1975.

On July 3, 1976, at the Gainesville Church of Christ, she married Michael Sanders. Mrs. Sanders was retired from Baxter Lab in Mountain Home. She was a Christian who loved being with her family and girlfriends, and vacationing on Padre Island, Texas, with her husband. 

She loved her daughter Jehnna and her granddaughter Jamie, and she was loved by her family and friends. They all enjoyed getting together on Friday nights to eat and have fun. With her beautiful smile, she was a light to the day for her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by her daughter, Jehnna Sosena and husband Jesus; one granddaughter, Jamie; her sister, Sonja; and one nephew, Kevin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael; two brothers, Dwight and Dwayne Anderson; one niece and three nephews.
