David ‘Donnie’ Miller, 75

David Donovan “Donnie” Miller, 75, of Gainesville died Sept. 17, 2020, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield. A memorial service will be held at a later date. 

He was born June 14, 1945, the son of Walter and Rosie Miller. He was a lifetime resident of Ozark County, where he met the love of his life, Beverly Houser Miller. They raised two children, Brenda Brown and Larry Miller. 

Mr. Miller was a godly man who loved his church and loved to tell others about Christ. He was a dedicated family man and loved to attend his grandchildren’s functions. One of his hobbies was fishing, and he often invited others to go with him. He also enjoyed hunting with his family. He was a loving husband, father and friend who will be missed by many.

He is survived by Beverly Miller, his wife of 50 years; one brother, David Miller and wife Brenda of Gainesville; two sisters, Rosalie “Ro-Ro” King, and Josie Woodward and husband Eddie of Gainesville; daughter Brenda Brown and fiance Chris Jenkins of Gassville, Arkansas; son Larry Miller and wife Brandi of Gainesville; five grandkids, Ashton Jordan, Dawson Brown, Brexton, Brayden and Libby Miller; three great-grandkids, Emree Hardison, and Kaden and Leigh Ann Jordan. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Elmer, Eddie, Johnnie and Jimmy Miller; sisters Leona Piland and Kathy Howard; and a brother-in-law John King. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Sallee Cemetery.
