Eva Virlean Ledbetter, 88

A graveside service for Eva Virlean Ledbetter, 88, of Twin Bridges, was held March 21, 2021, at Union Grove Cemetery in Howell County. Mrs. Ledbetter died March 18 at her home. 

She was born July 11, 1932, in Pottersville, the daughter of Arch Burch and Anna Hall. On June 15, 1950, in West Plains, she married W. J. Ledbetter. 

She loved life, her flowers, gardening and farm life. Those who knew her say words cannot sum up the effect her life had on so many others. 

She is survived by nine children: Dale Ledbetter of Twin Bridges; Dave Ledbetter, Dean Ledbetter, and Dan Ledbetter and wife Tina, all of West Plains; Don Ledbetter of Midway, Arkansas; Doris Hambelton and husband Guy, and Dal Ledbetter and wife Lori, all of Gainesville; Doug Ledbetter of Hollister; and Devin Ledbetter of Springfield; one sister, Karen Browning of Lacey Springs, Alabama; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, who died Sept. 27, 2013; one stillborn son, William Charles Ledbetter; two brothers, Howard Hall and Leroy Burch; and one sister, Virda Mae Peterson.
