Genevieve C. Misek, 101

A visitation service for Genevieve C. Misek, 101, of Theodosia, formerly of Chicago, Ilinois, will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. today, Jan. 6, 2021, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville. Mrs. Misek died Dec. 17, 2020, at the Gainesville Health Care Center in Gainesville.

She was born Sept. 6, 1919, in Chicago, the daughter of Stanley and Angeline Wiencek Pinas. 

She is survived by her son, Ronald T. Misek and wife Gail of Theodosia; grandchildren Edward Oskorep and wife Jessica of Summerville, South Carolina, Kimberlee Misek and husband Matt Gibson of San Marino, California, and Jill Hand and husband Emmett of Wasola; and great-grandchildren Haley and Emily Oskorep, Grace Gibson and Jenna and Jax Hand.

She was preceded in death by Jerry S. Misek, her husband of 62 years, and her daughter, Barbara Misek.

Burial will be Friday, Jan. 8, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois.
