Janice Joan Miller, 76

Janice Joan Miller, 76, of Hartville, died Sept. 4, 2020, at Hartville Care Center in Hartville. No public services are planned at this time.

She was born Dec. 17, 1943, in Norfork, Arkansas, the daughter of Johnnie and Joan Hicks Kirkland. 

She owned and operated a restaurant in Gainesville in the 1970s. 

In 1990, she married Don Miller. Together they owned and operated a restaurant in Mountain Home, Arkansas, for five years. After they sold the restaurant, they moved to Hartville. 

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and she loved her flowers. She also delighted in reading recipes for hours. She and her husband adored each other.  They were inseperable. 

She is survived by her partner, Don Miller; daughter Terry Maddox; step-daughter (caregiver) Becki Lansdown and husband Mike; four grandchildren, Chelsea Maddox, Dustin Davidson, Clay Davidson and Shalane Robertson; six step-grandchildren, Cory, Katie, Laura, Lauren, Dani and Kyle; great-grandchildren; a sister, Patsy Trivitt and husband Chester; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Noma Jean Stires; and a step-daughter, Jacquie.
