Judy Christine ‘Chris’ Boyette, 57

A memorial service for Judy Christine “Chris” Boyette, 57, of Dora, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Smith Chapel, on N Highway north of Gainesville Ms. Boyette died April 11 at her home.

She was born July 31, 1959, in Gainesville, the daughter of James Everett and Velma McGuffey Hillhouse. She grew up around the Gainesville area and attended school at Lutie. She enjoyed camping, fishing, dancing and singing karaoke. She also enjoyed playing pool, tending to her flowers and working in her yard. She loved her dogs, who were most special to her.

She is survived by Charles “Deloss” Sanders, her “significant other,” of the home; grandchild Shylee Adams of Springfield; great-grandchild Raylynn Frazier of Dora; nine siblings, William Hillhouse and wife Beverly of Clarendon, Arkansas, Thomas Hillhouse of Las Vegas, Nevada, Earnest Hillhouse and wife Carla of Wagoner, Oklahoma, James Hillhouse of Brixey, John Hillhouse of Almyra, Arkansas, Alfred Hillhouse and wife Ophelia of Pangburn, Arkansas, Kathryn Nelson of Tecumseh, Nina Welch of Haskell, Oklahoma, and Martha White of Gainesville; 20 nephews and 14 nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Wanda Midkiff; and one grandson, Keanon Frazier.

Burial of cremains will be in the Smith Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions to help with funeral expenses may be made to the Chris Boyette (Hillhouse) fund at Century Bank of the Ozarks, PO Box 68, Gainesville, MO 65655.
