Rebecca Brandon, 34

Funeral services for Rebecca Brandon, 34, of Brixey, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2020, in Souder Church of Christ with Pastor E.J. Hampton officiating. Ms. Brandon died July 20 in Douglas County.

She was born Aug. 17, 1985, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, the daughter of Glen and Rose Mahan. She graduated from Gainesville High School in 2003.  

Ms. Brandon enjoyed swimming and taking care of her pets. She loved her children. They meant the world to her.  

She is survived by her parents; four children, Winter Horwath, Isaac Horwath, Shawn Horwath and Scott Brandon; one brother, Thomas Mahan and wife Cindy; and a host of other relatives and friends.   

Burial will be in the Souder Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and may be left at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at clinkingbeardfuneralhome.com.
