Lane Scherff and Lori Dawn Nelson of West Plains are the parents of a baby girl, Emerson Lane Scherff, born May 7, 2018, at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. She weighed 6 pounds 13.5 ounces and was 20 inches long.
Grandparents are Mike and Andrea Scherff and Rick and Brenda Nelson, all of West Plains. Emerson also has several Ozark County relatives.
