Beverly Phyllis Bobby, 77

A celebration of life event will be held for Beverly Phyllis Bobby, 77, from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at her home, located at 82 Rocky Branch Lane, Pontiac. She died Nov. 19, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She was born Nov. 27, 1940, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, the daughter of Stephen and Elizabeth Tidd Yurick. She graduated from Rider College in Trenton, New Jersey, with an associate’s degree. While working for Lord and Taylor department store in Millburn, New Jersey, she met Paul Bobby. They were married April 20, 1963, in Clark, New Jersey. 

Mrs. Bobby also worked for New Jersey Bell Telephone Company. She loved her horses and dogs and adored flying with her husband. They owned Chapel Hill Gun Club in Great Meadows, New Jersey, and Eastbrook Camps Hunting and Fishing Resort in Eastbrook, Maine, and the Eastbrook Variety Store, where she enjoyed making lunches for the local loggers.

She had lived in Pontiac since moving there from Mahaffey, Pennsylvania, in 2010. She is survived by her husband, Paul Bobby of Pontiac, and a son, Paul S. Bobby of Lakeview, Arkansas. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Linda Beth.
