Dorothy Mae Turner, 76

Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Gibson Turner, 76, of Gainesville, were held Nov. 28, 2017, at Clinkingbeard Funder Home in Gainesville with Dale Roberts officiating. Mrs. Turner died Nov. 22 at her home.

She was born July 24, 1941, in Webb City, the daughter of James I. and Viola M. Williams Gibson.  She was a long-time resident of Ozark County and had lived the last 20 years in Gainesville.

After she retired from Copeland Corporation, she remained active throughout her remaining years, working part-time and sewing. She will always be remembered as being a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Donald Turner and wife Vickie of Thornfield; Arthur Turner Jr. of Gainesville and Catherine McKinzie and husband John of West Plains; siblings Charles LeRoy Seeber of Humansville; Gary Wayne Seeber of Troy; Ronald Dean Seeber of Iola, Kansas, and Teresa Raygoza of Brentwood, California; her grandchildren, Jeremy Turner, Terina  Kelley, Dustin Turner, Nathan Turner, Kalyn Hannaford, Katie Turner, Jamie Hale, Christopher McKinzie, Allan McKinzie, Emily McKinzie and Erin McKinzie;  12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather Calvin Seeber Sr.; and her brother, Calvin Seeber Jr.

Burial will be in the Lilly Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Lilly Ridge Cemetery.
