Euin Clayton Collins, 83

Funeral services with full military honors for Euin Clayton Collins, 83, of Pontiac, were held June 24, 2019, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with Bruce DeWeese officiating. Mr. Collins died June 20 at West Vue Nursing & Rehab in West Plains.

He was born Aug. 26, 1935 in Truman, Arkansas, the son of Richard and May Baker Collins. He served four years in the Army and later worked with the grounds crew for Baxter Lab Heathcare in Mountain Home, Arkansas, for 24 1/2 years. 

On Dec. 12, 1981, he married Suzanne Shaw. 

He was a kind and gentle man who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne, of Pontiac; his children, Anita Gay of Mountain Home, Santha Leadingham of Clarkville, Indiana, Jeanne Denise Beaver of Montana, Nancy Ruth Linn of Rogersville; his siblings, James Collins of Viola, Arkansas, Larry Collins of Norfork, Arkansas, Marie Ricardi of California, and Willie Collins of Tecumseh; eight grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, seven sisters and four brothers.

Burial was in the Hand Cemetery in Jordan, Arkansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
