Hiram Junior Tucker, 88
Funeral services for Hiram Junior Tucker, 88, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, formerly of Howards Ridge, were held Dec. 1, 2018, at Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home with Pastor Roy Crane officiating. Mr. Tucker died Nov. 30 in Springfield.
He was born Aug. 12, 1930, in Gassville, Arkansas, the son of Hiram and Rena Lamb Tucker. On April 27, 1956, he married Florence Hensley, the love of his life; they were married for 59 years until she died on Jan. 8, 2016.
Mr. Tucker managed Garnett Auto Supply in Derby, Kansas, for 38 years before retiring. He loved nothing more than driving around the countryside in his Ford Escort. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his son, Terry Tucker and wife Susan of Byhalia, Mississippi; one daughter, Sherri Haas and husband Brian of Bakersfield; five grandchildren: Jared Haas, Bryce Haas, Sarah Morehead, Joshua Tucker, Elizabeth Rosa; three great-grandchildren: Thomas Rosa, Dax Morehead, William Rosa; one sister, Ima Mckee; and one brother, David Lee Tucker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; siblings Grady Tucker, Rex Tucker, Arville Tucker, Velma Bell, Inez Summers, Bertha Jones and Leon Tucker.
Interment will be at Baxter Memorial Gardens in Mountain Home. Condolences may be expressed at rollerfuneralhomes.com/mtnhome.
