John Clemons Sr., 61

Funeral services for John Clemons Sr., 61, of Medaryville, Indiana, were held March 12, 2020, in the Goodway Baptist Church in Medaryville with Pastor James Rowe officiating. Mr. Clemons died March 6 in Chicago, Illinois. 

He born on July 17, 1958, in Rensselaer, Indiana, the son of Barney and Audrey Whitaker Clemons. He was a 1976 graduate of West Central High School. On Dec. 24, 1983, in Gainesville, he married Tina Lee Huelsenbeck. 

Mr. Clemons was a self-employed auto mechanic who enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, gambling and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tina; children Jamie Thayer and husband Bret, Ron Force and Amanda Kopka, John Clemons Jr., Marty Clemons and husband Ira, Brandi Slosser and husband Ryan, David Clemons and wife Katie, Zach Clemons, Bryan Luzzadder and wife Sarah, Sherry Dinga and husband Walter; sisters Joann Woudema and husband Andy, Barb Wireman and Linda Sizemore; and 23 grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings David, Paul and Brenda.

A graveside service was held March 14 in the Thacker Cemetery at Clarkridge, Arkansas.
