Lowell Dwight Lovan, 72

Funeral services for Lowell Dwight Lovan, 72, Dora, were held May 13, 2019, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mr. Lovan died May 9 at his home.

He was born April 30, 1947, at Twin Bridges, the son of Clyde Thomas Lovan and Velma Collins Lovan. On July 24, 1970, in Dora he married Sally Cash.

Mr. Lovan was a logger, and he loved his work. He enjoyed riding and pulling horses and loved spending time with his family and his many friends. He was a Christian.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Cash Lovan, of the family home; two children, Sarah DePriest and husband Allen of Dora, and Emmy Lou Ellison and husband Mike of Gainesville; five grandchildren, Seth Lovan and wife Kelsie, Cally DePriest, Cash DePriest, Lori Ellison and Tyler Ellison; and one great-grandson, Wade Lowell Lovan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glen and Fay Cash; and his brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Geraldine Lovan.
