Marjorie Callahan, 90

Funeral services for Marjorie Murleen Callahan, 90, of Pottersville, were scheduled for 10 a.m. today,  May 9, 2018, at the Crider Church of Christ. Mrs. Callahan died May 4 at West Vue Nursing Center in West Plains.
She was born April 25, 1928, at Crider, the daughter of Ferdinand “Ferd” D. and Arley Marritt Fox. On May 2, 1944, in Salem, Arkansas, she married Nolene Melcome Callahan. She enjoyed gardening, Sunday dinners, farming and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Jack Callahan and wife Glenda of Pottersville; five grandchildren, Jeff Mayberry and fiancée Carrie, James Mayberry, Wendy Barrett and husband Jason, John Callahan and wife Wendy, and Tammy Mayberry; 13 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and Ozark County friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, who died Jan. 19, 1987; one daughter, Linda Mayberry; son-in-law Cleon Mayberry; two brothers, Ray and Gale Fox; and one sister, Madge Stultz.
