Nathan L. Eliott, 77

Funeral services for Nathan L. Eliott, 77, of Pontiac, were held April 21, 2018, at Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Pastor Lowell Tregle officiating. Mr. Eliott died April 17 at his home.
He was born March 2, 1941, in Jourdanton, Texas, the son of Sydney and Nina (Marsh) Eliott. On Dec. 28, 1962, in Madison, Virginia, he married Barbara Woodward.
Mr. Eliott was a retired master sergeant in the Army who served on the Honor Guard for President John Kennedy’s funeral. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and he was always working or tinkering with something. He was an active member of the Three Brothers Community Church until the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara, of the home; two sons, Nathan L. Eliott Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Darrell Eliott of Gainesville; two grandchildren, Darrell Eliott of Rogersville and Jackie Eliott of Gainesville; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Cookie Launius and husband Wesley of Harrison, Arkansas; and one brother, Ken Eliott and wife Teeniet of Tilden, Texan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Rodney Eliott, and one daughter-in-law, Martha Eliott.
