Noma Nadine Wyatt Brown Traub, of Ava died December 26, 2017 at Heart Of The Ozarks Nursing Home after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.     

Nadine was born July 8, 1937 in Kissee Mills, MO., the daughter of Truman and Ada (Roberts) Wyatt.  She was a lifelong resident of Taney County with the exception of approximately two years in which she resided in Northern Mo.

She worked as a waitress and baby sitter followed by many years at Forsyth Garment Factory as a machine operator. She was co-owner of Brown’s Automotive at Kissee Mills Jct., Brown’s Drive-In and Brown’s Lawn Service at Forsyth with her husband of 39 years, Melvin Brown. 

She was baptized at a young age and again while attending The River church in Forsyth.

Survivors include one son, Rick Brown of Forsyth, MO.; a daughter, Angela and husband Pete Valbracht of Gainesville, MO.; father of the children, Melvin Brown of Forsyth, MO.; one sister, Virginia Cummings of Kissee Mills, MO.; one brother, Danny and wife Sheila Wyatt of Forsyth, MO.; brother-in-law Delbert Brown of Taneyville, MO.; sister in-law Bobby Wyatt of Forsyth, MO.;  three grandchildren, Cody McMahan of Springfield, MO.;  Cory “Chub” McMahan of Gainesville, MO., and Kobby Brown of Forsyth, MO.; one step-grandson Willie Valbracht and wife Nicki of Forsyth, MO.; four great-granddaughters, Alizaye and Avery McMahan of Rogersville, MO.,  Madison McMahan of Lawton, OK.,  Findley Brown of Forsyth, MO.; two step-great-grandchildren, Taylor Valbracht and Colton Long of Forsyth, MO.; many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Roger Wyatt, Roy Wyatt; two sisters, Wilma Wyatt and Wanda Brown: and brother-in-law Burnis Cummings.

Burial will follow at Kissee Mills Cemetery.
