Trenda LeeAnn Belt-Means, 26

Trenda LeeAnn Belt-Means, 26, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, died Aug. 17, 2019, at her home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

She was born Nov. 23, 1992, the daughter of Ray Gene and Shirley Belt of Caulfield. She spent her growing-up days on the family farm playing with her siblings and nearby cousins. She always had a smile for everyone she met and enjoyed life to the fullest. As an adult, her favorite job was being a stay-at-home mom to her daughter Olivia, almost 2.

On March 13, 2015, she married Ricky Means, the love of her life. They were married for four years, and he served in the Army until they started their family. On Sept. 19, 2017, Olivia was born. Mrs. Means truly enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom and spending every day raising her daughter and experiencing all the joys of being a first-time mom.

 She is survived by her husband, Ricky Means, and her daughter, Olivia Means, all of the family home; her parents, Ray Gene and Shirley Belt of Caulfield; her siblings, Danny Belt and Renee James, Boyd Wilson and wife Sandra, Kevin Belt and wife Debbie, Rita Mitchell, Tresa Wilson and Mike Ezell, Twila Morris and husband Travis, Randy Belt and wife Hope, Chuck Hastings and wife Sarah, Angie Crewse and husband Steve, Casey Belt and wife Lacey, Clinton Belt, Cameron Belt and wife Amanda, several nieces and nephews, and many friends whom she loved like family.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Sylvia and Odie Belt; her maternal grandparents, Lena and Luther Davidson; and siblings Pam Gibson and Tonia Hastings.

Family friends have organized a benefit auction to help the family with final expenses and those related to Mrs. Means’ medical treatment. It will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, in the Bakersfield School gym. Donated items for the auction, greatly appreciated, may be left at Gentry Trailer Sales, 4313 Highway 160 in West Plains.
